Today we have our first oral English class this semester. Last two weeks our class timetable had some mistakes.Prof John-Francis Grasso,a little fat man with beard,is our teacher.He is a typical American.He studies Chinese language in shanghai with no more than 3 years .He is very humorous and honest,as far as I can see.
At first ,we were nervous more or less.But he said bad English is better than no English,communication is better than perfection .He said he likes mistakes. So ,wo did and We had a happy time .
His words really encouraged me.Never be afraid of making mistakes. Just like a Chinese old saying:failure is the mother of success.Thanks a lot!
