学生的学习是个复杂的过程，即要具备各种基本认知技能，也需要非智力因素的维持。但即使学习意志很好的学生，在其学习中也往往有付出甚多而收效甚微的苦楚。在多年的教学实践中，也曾听不少教师笼统地将这一情况归经为学生不够聪明，而难以深入分析学生结构化思维中哪些要素处于欠缺，因而在帮助学生进一步改善他们的学习的时候，往往遭遇挫折。
以色列的佛斯坦博士认为有计划地调整基础智能过程，能够极大地增进认知发展。他的理论曾解决了大量难民营儿童的教育需求，这些儿童由于环境和生活经验的剥夺，严重缺乏认知技能。他们的逻辑思考和学习能力由佛斯坦的学习方法而得到极大的提高。佛斯坦最初确认的基础认知功能超过28个，后来美国博士格林伯格将其缩减到十个，也就是所谓的“思考积木”。笔者对此进行了粗浅的学习，并认为教师从这十个认知功能出发，可以比较分析学生学习困难的一定层次原因，对帮助学生解决学习的困难有一定的裨益。
格林伯格的10个思考积木：
1．接近任务：指一个人如何开始、持续和完成一项任务。搜集信息，对情境的思考，并表达自己在努力学习方面的思考和行动，这些都是接近任务的组成部分；
2．细致而精确：指精确地使用语言的能力，必要时能正确地模仿，并能确切无误地理解学习活动的具体情况；
3．空间和时间概念：指了解事物大小、形状、距离和顺序等的基本空间概念，及了解时间和随时间变化等概念的能力；
4．思维整和：指能把同一时间内的多元信息进行整合与应用；
5．选择性注意：指在分析思想和思考事件时，能从信息中选取相关内容，忽视无关内容的能力；
6．进行比较：指决定事物异同的能力；
7．联结事件：指把一个活动与另一个活动联想的能力，并能用有意义的方式应用这些联想；
8．工作记忆：指从记忆中回想和编码信息的能力，并能把累积的信息联结起来；
9．把握主要观念：指能从信息一般部分中发现基础元素；
10．问题确认：指能从一个已知的情境中，实验和定义出导致失衡的原因。
要说明的是，“思考积木”对帮助学习有一定意义，但不能完全解决学生在学习中遇到的问题。学生学习的困难极其复杂，各位老师实际工作的情况也各不相同。所以希望格林伯格的“思考积木”论仅作为以一砖之用，以引广大教师之玉。
这是不是对人类思维方式的一种分块？具体怎么运用我还是没怎么弄明白，不过广大的老师在日常的教学中就能有针对性的对学生的思维进行训练和培养倒是很好的：）
